Yeshua our Bridegroom

At Mount Sinai, there was a marriage (Jer 2:1-3).

The Bride was the house of Jacob (Ex. 19:3). The marriage offer of the Bridegroom was to follow His Torah (Ex. 19: 5-6). The house of Jacob agreed to do so (Ex. 19:8). Yeshua is the Bridegroom (Is. 54:5, Rev. 19:7-8). The house of Jacob broke the marriage covenant by worshipping the golden calf (Ex. 32: 4-8). The worshipped Baal and Ashtaroth (Judges 2:11-13). They were given the judgment of an adulterous woman (Ez. 16:38). When Yeshua died on the tree, His shed blood paid the price for the sin of His adulterous Bride (Romans 3:24-25, Col. 1:14). Yeshua died the death of the penalty of an adulterous woman. In the same way that the house of Jacob was afflicted, He was afflicted (Is. 63:8-9). Yeshua laying down His life to redeem His Bride is the greatest love of all.
