Romans ~ Pt 1b ~ The Just Shall Live by Faith

In this teaching series, Eddie dives into the book of Romans to reveal this book to us in a Hebraic context with a “Torah Principles” perspective. In this segment, Eddie reveals to us the foundations of right relationship with the God of Israel through faith. Paul shows us that pathway to us in Romans. When Paul tells us that the just shall live by FAITH, not works, He is actually giving us a Torah principle.

In Romans 1:17 it is written: “For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith”.
Eddie shows us that Abraham was made right with God through his faith, not his works, and that this is a Torah principle:
“For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Romans 4:2-3 This passage is coming from the Torah– Paul is teaching us Torah here.

It comes from Genesis 15:5-6: “Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” And he (Abraham)believed in Yahweh, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.”
Listen in as Eddie walks down the Roman road that Paul laid to learn about the foundation and basis of our salvation!
